Welcome to Ivory Barn

Where custom home decor & furniture fits your budget

Our Story

Have you ever found yourself wanting to redesign a space in your home, and then realizing how expensive it is to do it?! Well that’s where we found ourselves in 2014 when we were building our own homes. After months of planning and shopping around, we took a step back and thought, “couldn’t we just save money and build this ourselves?” So we did! What began with us building farm tables for our own homes, turned into us building and selling our custom home decor and furniture as a vendor in a craft show. Our huge success at the show made us realize we needed to have a space to sell all year-round. We rented a small room within an antique shop and sold our rustic/vintage finds with new farmhouse decor all styled with our handmade farmhouse furniture. We then grew big enough to move into our first brick & mortar in 2016.

In just five short years, we took Ivory Barn from a small booth at a craft show to a custom-built, 7,000 sq. ft. barn in downtown Pataskala, OH. This barn not only holds our retail space, but also the wood shop we use to design and create the products you’ll see all throughout the store. Upstairs, you’ll find The Urban Loft at Ivory Barn that is rented out for small events. Since we began, we have welcomed 16 Ohio-made vendors into our space. Our merchandise is always changing with new design & concepts each month. You'll always find a treasure with us!

When we started this business, we knew we wanted to be able to manage the store while still having plenty of time to be with our families. To be able to do this, we only open our doors to the public on certain weekends each month (and even more around the Holidays!) This select time allows us to reset our store each season with brand-new merchandise and still gives us the flexibility we need with our children. Make sure you follow our social media so you’re always the first to know when our next opening is!

We can't wait to see you! - Sam Sasfy & Corie Cook, The Ivory Barn Owners
